NIGHT / EQUIPMENT GUIDE
Build a mech loadout around the way you fight.
Night gives you three equipment choices: paired arm weapons, a left back unit, and a right back unit. Understand the slots first, then experiment with a combination that suits your next battle.

Your three equipment choices
| Slot | Core input | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Paired arm weapons | Left mouse | Your main firing option |
| Left back unit | Q | A compatible weapon or left-slot utility |
| Right back unit | E | A second independent back unit |
On a phone or tablet, use the matching on-screen equipment controls. Left and right back slots are independent attachment points; choose each side separately in the hangar.
For every weapon’s base stats, active skills, slot restrictions, and rotating model previews, open the weapon and back unit catalog.
Start with the arm weapons
Think about the distance at which you want to fight. Machine guns support sustained pressure. Shotguns reward getting close enough to use their spread. A sniper rifle asks you to make room and line up a shot. Other options, including miniguns and beam rifles, give you more combinations to explore as you unlock parts.
There is no single recommendation that fits every pilot and every battlefield. Try a weapon long enough to notice when it feels comfortable and when it leaves you exposed. Then change your movement or your equipment with a clear reason.
Give each back unit a job
A missile launcher can add a volley to an exchange. A heavier strike weapon can give you an opening to time carefully. Drone options add another way to support a fight. Rather than choosing two unfamiliar systems at once, keep one side familiar while you try the other.
Shield, cloak, and EMP fit the left back slot only. If you want one of those utilities, plan the right slot around it. Check the selected part’s description in the game for its current behavior and availability.
Try a simple loadout experiment
- Choose a goal. Practice staying at range, closing the distance, or surviving a difficult exchange.
- Keep your arm weapon familiar. That makes it easier to notice what a back unit changes.
- Use Q and E deliberately. Learn which slot is ready before pressing it under pressure.
- Change one choice after the battle. Repeat the comparison instead of replacing everything at once.
These are ideas for practice, rather than claims about the strongest competitive setup. The battles are against AI pilots, and difficulty, terrain, and your own movement all affect what feels useful.
Parts and colors, between deployments
Use earned game currency for equipment parts and customization. Night is your mech; changing weapons, back units, and colors lets you explore a different approach without choosing a separate chassis purchase.
